Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

Acceptance

By using Ownwise, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Ownwise does

Ownwise helps you understand the true cost of owning products, stay on top of upkeep, and resell with proof. It is a tool to inform your decisions.

Estimates are informational, not advice

Cost-of-ownership figures, resale values, product identifications, and buying recommendations are estimates for general information only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and can change over time.

They are not financial, legal, or purchasing advice. Verify important details independently before making a decision. You are responsible for your own purchases and sales.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and use Ownwise lawfully.

In the community marketplace, list items honestly and interact respectfully. You are responsible for your listings and communications.

Marketplace

Ownwise is not a party to transactions between users. We provide tools to list and evaluate items, but the sale itself is between buyer and seller.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ownwise is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on estimates or information in the app.

Accounts and termination

You may delete your account and data at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do.
